Youtube from Queen Rania of Jordan

YouTube is a video sharing website where users can upload, view and share video clips. Everyone can register a YouTube account and upload their video for sharing to other people and get an instant feedback. This interactive feedback among the video creator and reader is a good platform for many political and social activities.

I wrote an article of few youtuber previously and introduced some creative youtuber to keep watch. They utilized the full potential of this website to present their own thoughts and talent and get feedback from the viewers.

The internet culture revolution really attracted few well known people to use the internet as their official platform for their own works. In Malaysia, political godfather such as Lim Kit Siang, Mahathir Mohamad and Anwar Ibrahim personally using the internet platform to express their statement rather the old news paper media that believed easily to be manipulated by some groups.

Queen Rania of Jordan is the new buzz in the Youtube world. Her YouTube got a huge attention from people around the world because she is the wife of King Abdullah II of Jordan and among the high profile person. She can publicized in many ways but choose YouTube as her main platform to reach out to the people.

Her YouTube site caught a huge attention from international media such as BCC over the stereotype issue than the Arab people experience since the September 11 attacks. One can go to her YouTube site to participate and leave a video respond and comment about this issue.

Bias stereotype among the Arabs Muslim are spreading fast in the western community. South East Asia shared its own problem too when the radical Islamic group such as Abu Sayyaf and Jemaah Islamiyah creates unrest to the region. This also created lots of bias stereotype to the Islam community in non Islamic nation such as Philippine and Thailand.

With most of the political turmoil caused by religion differences, people around the world become very confused with the events happening around them. Political motivated bias in some news report add up more dissatisfaction encouraged the fear to a religion once not so controversial and has created a group of people such as Queen Rania of Jordan to clear out the misconception of the west and some wrong ideology belief that thought by religious extremist.

The creation of internet platform such as blog and YouTube gave new alternative and unbiased chances for individual people such as you and me to express their opinion about one issue and problem. Nevertheless, the free flow media platform can also used to spread a false concept of issues unless there are more people that care to straighten out and explain the truth. Today we lived in a world where everyone has the chances to express their opinion, interest and socialize in the world that without the political and religion boarder.

Chicken and duck talk in Parliment

I found this parliament clip in Youtube in which a simple question and answer session turn out to be a very nasty argument between parliamentary representatives Sothinathan, Lim Kit Siang and Fong Po Kuan. The opposition is very famous with their verbal skills in public in election campaign but easily gets misunderstood over some simple phrase uttered by their opponent.

This session i believe suppose to be a simple question and answer session where MP Lim Kit Siang try to debate an issue where the municipal raise the house tax and gave warning this act will upset the people and might drive the Barisan National to lost the next general election in which by now it true. Then i remembered a clip by two Indian comedians from comedycourt in which resemblance the parliament session as i mentioned.

The obvious thing i find is very similar in these two clips is the language. I have a problem to understand what they are saying in the first view until I replay it all over again. The parliamentary session between Sothinathan and Lim Kit Siang suppose to be a gentlemen debate but turn out to be a bit nasty when Lim Kit Siang cry out of the politic issue. The rest of the argument is purely a misunderstanding of what each other said.

I very appreciate to know the MP form opposition is so verbally active to voice out the public problem, but I find it so hard to swallow the language skills they have when spoke it in Malay. The debate that turns out to be a nasty argument again turns out to be a comical entertainment for all the MP. I hope that the Parliament will not be like the Taiwan nasty session especially now the opposition gains a great deal of MP seats in which I believe will create more heated session between the ruling government and the opposition MP.

I hope that all the Chinese and Indian MP especially in the opposition side resolved to hire a Malay language specialist or get tuition to improve their language and communication skills. I don't want the opposition and the government MP ended up misunderstands each other and ended up talking chicken and duck.

Tribute to Kota Kinabalu Rain

I got this idea from maslight on her previous post. I actually don't mind of raining everyday because even if it rains, i have no where to go most probably. Edgar seems to experience the bad side effect of constant rains in his post here to here. Flanegan lost his photo artistic touch because of the rain in here. The rains call charlenediane to take more vanity shots and it is beautiful, simply beautiful. Zainijimmy got off time from rubber tapping maybe an early retirement from God. Midnight rains and hot chocolate for rachel.

So, let sing the rain song all together! ^_^

YouTube, Video Streaming in Masses

I wrote about web based drama lonegirl15 not long ago. It was thought to be a video blog but some viewers found out it was created by a production team and actors. YouTube is a good platform for ordinary individual chances to show and share their creativity, idea and works using their web camera or video camera. I saw lots of creative ideas came out made by only one person and simple editing tool.

Now day, video blog or video blogging is spreading around the internet users. One can express their thoughts, idea and feelings in front the camera rather than writing it with words. Video streaming become more practical today because of the high speed data transfer network. We're not limited to only text, layout and graphic interface but an extra addition of video to the web. News becomes more ever faster reaching to the community around the world.

I'm now I subscribe for two video log channel that is Communitychannel and HappySlip. Communitychannel was hosted by a girl named Natalie who live and study in Australia. She have an unique personality when talking in front of the camera and express her thoughts very good with a bit sarcastic and funny way. The most interesting came from her is her ability to do a snap multiple character theatrical act that most of student actor do when practicing the acting performance in front of the camera. There are some of her YouTube video that i find it so funny especially Parody of NoHoGirls "Indecent Proposal" and a little bit sketch about audition for Harry Potter.

HappySlip also do the same multiple character act video but i have to give it to Natalie of her wider adaptation and ability to jump from one character to another different character and not back to the same old character. HappySlip is a pretty charm lady and actually more famous than Natalie. She has most views of her video, even thou i feel that his acting skills not really that good. Maybe is her looks and her capability in singing that attract lots of people. Moreover, she live in America that is the YouTube country that enable her to join any conference organized by YouTube management.

Another YouTube user that i subscribe is a local named zanazlee. He is a freelance film producer and full time mass com lecture. He also create a videoblog for his self too. He created some good short political and travel documentary and posted it in YouTube. I don't know if there is any YouTube community in Malaysia or Sabah specially. I think there are some but it was hard to locate them.

I also sent some of the video clip i made into YouTube. The location is here. I also want to create some self made video on YouTube. I has some idea in my mind and wish to produce it using my sort of expensive video camera for wedding video that i never have chances to used after bought it. Well it also depend if i can put it nicely on a video.
